If you can come up or have someone do it for you, I have 2 bed liners. One is an All-Star and the other is an original with Comanche stamped in the front. I am from Attica, IN. A long drive, I know, but wanna be of help if possible.
-
Those are the ones that I am after....too bad I haven't found one haha. Very nice look fellers.
-
No plans of installing it! When I bought this truck it had one in it..All Star I believe. It is also sitting out back along with the other three from previous full size trucks we have had over the years. I do not like them because they collect junk underneath, they rub, and you can't keep your things from sliding all over the dang place. Even with a topper I couldn't see myself using them.

It was on the guys Comanche before he sold it.He must not have cared about how it looked and saw that it fit so therefore it was a Comanche topper. Had I not been waiting on a fuel pump I would have taken the Jeep and check for fitment there. Oh well.Scored a bedliner which was pretty cool at least.

Here she is with the new topper....Not at all what I was expecting and now to try and sell it. This could work if you really wanted a camper topper, but I do not and can live without. Back to searching for the right one! For it to work properly it is nearly touching the cab. I could shave it down, but it still does not have the right angle to match the cab. Image Not Found Image Not FoundImage Not FoundImage Not Found It looks good when looking at a picture, but in person it just doesn't fit the bill. For now I will be running with the topper that I originally had on...here it is after painting around the windows and polishing the aluminum that I left.

Got tied up recently with some other projects and we had some nice weather this way, so I spent as much time out doors as possible. After getting my new grommets for the rollover shutoff valves I was able to get the new tank and pump installed on my truck. The new pump seems to have fixed the hard starting and pressure problem discovered with the fuel pressure tester. When I can get some miles on it I will also know if I have the cutting out issue, like I described earlier in this topic, was fixed. Once the snow melts here I will take the truck to town and fill the tank in hopes that my sending unit is sealed before putting my skid plate back on.

When we haul a vehicle we have hooked to the frame, or go around the axle at all 4 corners. Let the suspension do its thing and not make it so rigid. Has worked well for us. Allow the front straps to pull forward and the rears pull backwards. This does not allow movement forward or backwards....we normally set a brake if we can. I also haul tractors like this, only with a chain and binder. Hasn't failed me yet! Hope I have been some help

So I am currently painting around the windows of the topper above. So far, so good! The day after posting this topic I was talking to my brother about how I wouldn't mind having a camper style topper. So, that evening I go in and check craigslist and what do you know? Someone just 25 minutes north of me happened to list a topper for a comanche! It wasn't there earlier that morning! So tonight i went and got it and am very pleased! I'm becoming quite the topper whure now haha. $50 bucks and he threw in a factory drop in bedliner that says comanche at the front of the bed! I took the bedliner just because it said Comanche. I am not a fan of of them honestly....here is the score..Image Not FoundImage Not Found It needs a bath and some loving attention....and more stickers, but I can't wait to get it on the truck and try it out this summer!

I am really digging it the more I look at it. I plan to get some topper tape to help seal it up better (the old tape is old and crunchy). I might tape it off and paint all of the aluminum around the windows black and then call a guy I went to college with who does some tinting on the side. Or practice with it myself....depends if he would be willing to tint a few trucks while he was out. There was a ladder rack on the topper that we took off, but might put it back on and install some lights for night jobs. We will see!
-
The topper was sitting out back and I decided to clean it up and put it on for S&G's....now I kinda like it. Just wondering what your guys' thoughts are! Its so light that two guys can handle it. The convenience of still being able to get into the bed from all sides is what I really like.

31 and 39 PSI with the old regulator now. Still leaked off in a matter of seconds.

Standard T Series P/N: PR210T

just checked the pressure. with Vac I am reading 27PSI. Without I am reading 36PSI. When the truck shutoff it drained to zero psi in 3 seconds....

My plan was to just patch the holes. IF the CAT is bad Id buy one and punch it out, or just replace it with a pipe. If there is a restriction then I will do something, otherwise I am going to leave it be.

I need a new gas tank, so what I am going to do is order a new pump and strainer since I will be right there. any suggestion on brands? My exhaust could be an issue too. There is a hole where it comes over the axle at the hanger and at the end of the tailpipe. They're far enough at the end I don't think that is a huge issue, but it appears to have the original CAT and a 'new' glasspack. The exhaust has been like this since I bought the truck 2 years ago.

I got 12, 35, 33. They showed in that order. I do not have A/C or an electric fan. I'm guessing thats why they showed?

10-4! Thats about as fast as mine leaks off as well. I will still get the gauges and test it. If the pressure checks out, what would you propose to do next? I did not reboot the computer like some people say they do because the truck started and idled like normal. Not sure if that would be something to still consider or not.
-
How did you determine this? With gauges? It wouldn't run at all with no fuel pressure.... I should have clarified....I do not have pressure when the engine is off. When I try to release pressure at the test port on the rail there is no pressure to be had.

Alright guys, I have a '92 Comanche that has been having some issues. Not on every start up, but most of them it will crank for a long time or crank hard. There is no fuel pressure in the rail. I have changed the injectors to 4 hole Bosch 943's which, as I understand, are Fords and they put out 18.25lb/hr. After changing them it seemed to start a little better, but I still had no pressure in the rail. I changed the Fuel Pressure Regulator and still no improvement. Now to back up a bit...Before I ever started working on the issue, the Jeep would run great, but if I was in 3rd gear and run the RPMS up to 2 grand it would get juggy, or feel like it was starving for fuel. After the injector swap and new Regulator I took it for a spin and everything seemed fine....until I had to climb a hill at the end of our road. I was in 3rd and it did not want to climb it. Once I got up the hill I went around the block and it started acting up in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. It felt to me like it was not getting enough fuel, or too much fuel. I could feel shaking under my feet like something was rattling around when the truck didn't wanna go. Before I put the old injectors back in to see if that solves the issue, I thought I would ask you guys what you may think is wrong. Thanks in advance!

General Assistant for an R&D Scientist at Syngenta. We are the guys that use the new chemicals introduced into the market while also using new combinations that have not hit the market (if they even do) and rate the affect that these chemicals have on weeds and crops. Very fun job! When things slow down with our research I work on our farm and help a friend during harvest.

I am heading back this morning to grab some things needed for a current project. I will go back and check those just to be sure, but fairly certain they were painted.

Running and Marker lights? The running lights were painted orange on this jeep. They would probably charge me around $10.

Can the sentinel relay be done to later MJ's? If I have my lights on and turn the truck off before pushing in the switch my lights stay on for a bit before shutting off on my '92. Kind of like it was kept on the "auto" light setting on newer vehicles. When I found this out I always made sure to turn the key to the on position and then turn the lights off and turn the key off again just to be safe
