  1. Nitro.. I just bought this one .it had lots of issues but I have narrowed it down to just the to lights on the dash. It only happens when I turn on my head lamps Eagle I will try the signal buckets ..or can I reground them to chassis
  2. the head light and dimmer in my truck are the same switch..you pull on the headlights and turn the knob right to left to dim.and spray contact cleaner on the harness plug while its out
  3. change the headlight switch brother
  4. Ok I have been working on my 89 pioneer comanche 4.0..I have changed the headlight switch regrounded the dash harness and checked all lights in the cluster. But I still have both turn signal on dash lighting up like there is a issue somewhere else.Any ideas would be helpful..

  7. Check all ground wires??
  8. I just bought one with the same issue.. Do a engine ground check.. Hook a jumper lead to the front of the engine on the long head stud driver side ..then hook the other end to the hood latching point (that is a clean no paint latch in the front corner above head light) go fire your truck and see if that helps..I also unplugged my blower motor cleaned connection blower works fine now..and reground your dash ..that should get you in the right direction
  9. I have a Dana 44 perched for Mj xj front ends a direct bolt in for sale.. It is a ford high pinion full width..
  10. I understand you want a Mj tow pig...however I'm just chiming in my idea..at the money you are going to spend you could buy a used dodge diesel and a used gose neck trailer and pull all your stuff with ease and safely.
  11. There is a air leak some where in your vacuum ...its not a perfect method but ...start your engine and lightly spray areas of your fuel and vacum system with starter fluid ( not around the air box to much).. If you spray a area and the truck idles up there's your problem
  12. Well I found my issue..The ground on the rear of the engine had broken at the base...that fixed most of the issues, then I still had no lights... You hit the nail on the head ..it was the switch. This weekends work includes cleaning all connectors and regrounding the entire truck. Thank you
  13. The truck runs fine until you turn on the lights. None of the cluster lights or turn signals work ither. Its like the driver side dash is dead accepte for the indicator lights that cycle when starting.. The glove box light does work..any tips would be appreciated
  14. Man I am new to the forum..I just want to say my hat is off to you..very impressive build.
  15. Lol...I to was simply lurking ..if I opened my mouth only unfounded babble would spew out...
  16. It was running fine then smoked...the fuel pump is a inline unit straight wired...it pumps but now the truck does not have fire to the coil
  17. I have purchased a 4x4 build project it's a 86 Mj ...I'm very new to the Mj forum so not Telly sure if this question has been answered. So I put a inline fuel pump in Andi started it...Then smoke came from under the dash and and it will not start any more..it just turns over no fire to cool
