Well so far no takers on having them made but I do have some pics. I had it reprimed with good quality primer with hardner work was done by a body shop.

Anyone else sick of paying alot of money just to put junk chinese parts on our jeeps! Used to be with NAPA you were able to get USA parts even there getting into this junk.
I have it, not as bad as I thought would not deal on price any. There is a local sheet metal shop thats a fairly large one maybe I will take it over and see what they say about making patch panels? I will get some pics if it ever stops raining here.
I was a at not so local parts store today getting a waterpump and some other things when I asked for a filter for the comanche. I got to talking to the guy behind the counter about my comanche. When he says you want a bedside for that? I said what a used one hes says no a NOS one that was bought 12 yrs ago by his buddy. He said he went along when he bought it from a dealer he had to drive from PA to geroria just to get it.
I said sure I want it starting to write down my number and hes allready on the phone with him. He tells me sure its here( I am not going to publish the price as I may not keep it). It fiqures its the drivers side and that was replaced on mine back in the mid 90`s and never driven in the snow after and its perfect. Have no idea what its worth he said its has light surface rust on it from sitting in covered cold storage. Any suggestions on what to pay? And is the front and rear of a MJ wheel openoing the same? What I am getting at is if the centre section is cut out could I flip it for the other? I am going to get this in the morning hes even briging it halfway for me.
What brand and how much would you spend on a mig welder that will be used for floors and sheet metal for a new user. I have done some stick in school but that was many years ago. My dad has a small stcik welder and knows his way around them but never used a mig. Looking for some ideas guys.
I have had 2 96xj`s one had over 225k finally died with a electrical problem I could not fix if I would have been on this board then I bet I would have had the help to fix it. I think it had 150k when we bought it. Worst thing I ever replaced was a power steering pump and ware items. The other we still have has around 100k on it wife drives it 300miles a week at least and we have done nothing to it bought it at 85k. I have a 99 with 170k which I put 60k of those on and have not done anything to it but universials twice and ware items. The floors in all three are shot and the 99 has more rust than any but it was a penn dot xj so lots of salt running. The interior on the 97 ups seam a little nicer but I would never be afraid of anything but rusty floors.
