yeah he has sold me whole jeeps before. he knows what I do and has no problem with it. I trade off between him and an other guy sending them my junk scrap. they get what ever they git for it when they crush stuff. that way I can keep the yard clean of scrap and i do not plan on calling the crusher here so it works out great. I will post pics soon..

well talked to Doug the owner of the yard. I have bought jeeps from him before. Great guy to deal with. the Mj is a 91 has 201,000 klicks on it thats works out to around 124k miles, its the 4.0L auto. coulme shift, Build date 06/91, subframe in the rear is broken on drivers side, I bought it for 350 bucks.. I have soem pics I will poct them up... how many 91s were built? their was not that many was their?

was down at one of J/Y by me and they have a long box mj. has coulme shift bench seat, 4x4 sitting in the back. I have seen the jeep around a few times last year but have not seen it on the road in months. the owner actualy lives a few miles away from me. they were not open when I was down so I am going to talk to them and take pics and find out whats what

well I was not worried about it as i have emails conferming that he did not mind taking the deposit and waiting. i drove over an hour to look it over and finalize the deal. he gave me a recipt and agreed taht once the guy that bought my mj is out of the hospital from sergury and pick up my truck I can come pick up the new one.. thsi is all in emails and was said again. it is not like he waited i was their thursday and he sold it to someone friday becasue he called and left a message for me to call him friday night... i called a few times and then he called to night... he said... hey just wanted to ask if you addy is right on the email i have from you? I said yes why? his reply was well a guy came and gave me more then you did so I sold it to him.. I said wait... we had a deal nad you have money as a deposit... right.. yeah but that does not matter he said.. i said oh it does nad intill after the date we set for me to come pick it up has past it is mine. I f i did not coem git it then you can do what you want with it... he said oh well I am going to send your money to you... I said realy please do I will need it for my lawer so I can take you to court for the money you just cost me andd my time

I can not belive some people the guy i was buying the Mj from called me to say he sold it the day after I gave him the deposit... we made a deal i could pick it up this comming week. and he sold it to someone elts after I made the deal.. I can not belive how some people have no problems doing this kind of thing... I feel like I should take him to court for loss of income... I would have made a lot of money on that jeep

ok if its the same then yes.. we did not have diesel scouts here that I knew of or know of...

anyone know an info on the diesels cj10a engiens I have a chance to buy one and I am thining that it would work great in an mj. I know its a 6 cyl and its made buy nissan. this one is out of a cj10a 86 and has 45,000 miles on it. come with 727 tranny. I did find out that the 208 t-case that I have on the 80 j10 will bolt right to the tranny..

around where I live within 100 miles when the people that see me and the Mj they know its me 1) because I am the jeep guy and 2) the other mj owners know because 90% of the mjs on the road around me were bought from me. LOL ...if the other jeep owners sit in parking lots to look at the truck and ponder, "wow where can I get one?". ...if you are asked "will you sell that.. I would love to have that... what year is it?"

yeah well you know me i have to take a good deal when it come up. I might just part it out if the subframe is bad and if not i will fix it fast and resell

picked this up for 3 bills today needs rockers, some floor work and a set of springs in the rear. runs great, 4.0L with the 5 speed

Yeah that did it for me... I had to have it just for the lift the wheels and the tires.... the rest I did not care about... it could have been junk... I wanted all the parts to put on my 88 shorty... but now that I have seen it and bought it I think I am going to fix it up.. realy nothing a few parts out ofth yard won't fix...

We have a winner! :clapping: I looked at the first pic then read the posts hahahhahahhahhaaa yeah take the blocks out chuck them as far as you can in the recycling bin and buy or build a good set of leafs... blocks alow for spring rap and they load the leafs at a stand still you do not even have to move the truck..... oh and with the over size tires it will make the engine tranny t-case and housings come out from under it if you drive it to much llike that.... :agree:

I don't know sounds like a lot of work for some of us..lol I would have to let you know about the 10 I have sold and the 8+ in the yard. LOL others on here have more then me to deal with... it all sounds like a good idea but i would be a day walking in the yard gathering info then :typing: it all out... :doh: call everyone that I sold a mj too and see it they mind... :smart: anyway yes it would be a great thing to do but i think it shold be a closed thread so that its not full of bla bla bla.. so yeah do it up but like I said do it so that the info is sent to soemone and they put it on the thread...

yeah thanks it needs rockers and one small hole in the floor fixed but the truck is a west cost truck and the subframe is in great shape... not sure what to do with it... I have been looking for one to make into an excab and short box. this could be it..

it has a rebuilt 2.8 borded out. 5 speed, ite an x modle 34" tires, 5.5" extreme duty RE lift in the front and adjustable track bar, soa in the rear d35 and d30 with 4:10's

they sell for a grand here. they work great, parts are eazy to buy, you can not go wrong with any of the small hondas

A jeep guy just gave me a deposit on old blue 90. he said he was looking for a MJ for a wail. he has been down in Maine, NH and a few other places over the past year nad people are asking 4 to 5 grand for trucks in the shape he just bought mine for. $1600.oo he thinks it great that I have 2 of his old jeeps in my yard. (2dr xj, 6door waggy) he and his wife are so happy they are buying an other jeep and its an MJ... I am glad so now i can go pay off the J10 and bring it home to pull my float. i am going to put the short box 88 back on the road for summer.... it is crazy what people think they are worth... I saw 2 today driving down the road and 2 different ones yesterday... funny thing is i sold them all.. LOL

can I select them all 2 times so you get the proper results..LOL I am sure others are thinking the same thing

from the pic's it does not seem to be in that bad of shape.. I am thinking hard one it but it is about 5hr drive to go pick it up and 5 hrs back. I am so bizzy this time of year its hard to find the time. I just bought a 96 xj with 31's today qith 143k on it runs great. guy drove to my place for $400.oo. I have two 360 f/s cherokees comming in this week and a j10. a 94 yj I have to pick up.. I am buying so much just from around here that its hard to justify the time away from the shop right now. I am going to have to sell off a bunch of parts in a sale and go pick up the mj. I had the chance to get it last year and did not I am ment to own this I think as its for sale again... I just hope that if I go and pick it up its not all f'ed up from this guy and he is lieing about not trying it... it realy worrys me...

here are pics of the truck. the seller just told me the pump came with it and was in the box. he matched it up before he put it on. he said the belt is good and he made sure it was lined up. he has not had time to work on it nad said he did not try to start it. he also does not even want to sell it as its rare and he love the look on the comacnhe aswell. But no time so it has to go. he will sell it to me for $600.oo he has an other header for the front and grill. and some other parts.

started with full tank and put $50.oo at end. it is $1.00 per/L here yeah I was thinking after I posted that people may think that is alot in one day to drive.. hahahahaaaa and on 50 bucks that would be crazy fuel milage hahaaaaa :rotf:
