For the past week when I go to park my truck for the day, it feels like the 4wd is not fully coming out. I tried to shift the transmission from neutral to drive, and when i turn the wheels squeel and the wheel is a little jerky. So is there something that i am missing that i need to do special to get it fully out of 4wd or is it just a common problem with the MJ.

Thats pretty sweet right there. Although I'm sure it would be a nightmare to wire that thing up to put into a manche. :shake:

From another noob myself welcome :wavey: For 500 bucks its a pretty good find if you say if has little rust. Your plans also seem awesome and can't wait to see what you have in store for your baby.

Well I didnt put in my new cluster yet, hopefully tomorrow i'll get it in. The thing is the donor vehicle actually started up and everything worked fine except the signal. But do you think it could be the wiring that plugs into the back of the cluster? If it is all those wires back there, then it should work fine in the MJ since the turn signal in there is working properly. Only a theory as to what the problem could be :???: but I'm hoping for the best. :D And a little side note, can i use the sending units off the donor or should i just go out and buy new ones?

I'm currently in the process of swapping out the idiot lights for the full gauge cluster and theres a problem with the donor cluster's turn signal light. When I started the door vechile up to see if all the gauges worked, I turned on the light to see if the background lights worked. They all worked, but the left turn signal light stayed on bright green when the turn signal wasnt even on. So do you think it's a bad bulb and i can just switch the one out of my MJ to the new cluster? Or is it something electrical that its always staying on? Thanks a bunch. :cheers:

I've always wanted one of those slow-mo cameras too. I like the ones where a balloon full of water is broken, and the water holds its shape for a splitsecond. Pretty cool pics though. :cheers:

Hello everyone, well after mingling around here, i finally registered and for one i love the site. Just a little info first. I've got a 90' LWB, AW4 thats completely stock, and is in really good shape. So in your HONEST opinion do you think my manche's 4.0 H.O. can beat my neighbor's 2000 camero in a drag race? It's only a V6 and from what i've seen its nothing special. Now I'm not saying i would race him :D but I'm just curious as to the outcome of such a race. My thinking is since the AW4 is geared lower and i have more displacement (4.0L) i would have a faster acceleration and could beat him in a 1/4 mile drag race. Thoughts?
