that's only if he's swapping a 4.0 into an 86 MJ so an 89 2.5L has room for a 4.0L? what does the 86 have in it that takes up room? The Firewall I think don't know what else you would have to to take out. @Pete M Thats what I thought he was wanting to do, If i read it all correctly

Yeah, I'm wanting to take a trip down there to help, there was a couple that lived down there that helped me load some MRE's and powerade in my dads Ram that live down there. I think you should be good, you might have to change the clutch lines out. Other people will be able to tell you for sure on here.

Whats your front axle? Be sure the gearing ratio is the same.
