  1. They had people looking at it while I was still signing the papers. Its at Autowholesalers of Hooksett. I think they are going to be having up it for around 1400 or so. I mean I got 1k in trade which I found acceptable considering it was a dealership and I was allowed to drive off the lot that day with no money out of pocket and only 40 bucks a week as payments. I will say they were all pretty impressed with the truck. I'm not going to lie I'm going to miss the thing, if it was not for the carseat not strapping in to a point where I felt comfy would have kept it.
  2. this posting can be removed as the ad is going to be down once I'm done typing this. Ended up getting a 02 Chevy Blazer fully loaded XD
  3. Lol I'm not worried about it (I doubt realized it was a member :P). Honestly things have been so nuts here (trying to job hunt while toting around the little one and such) that I completely forgot that I could post it here. As it is I'm heading to my friends dealership tomorrow and trading it in for a 2003 Dodge Duragno Sport 4wd. Thing is in nearly mint condition... Anywho I'm still going to be here oogling all the sexy manches XD
  4. Need it gone thats why, Can't drive my little one around in it and quite honestly I don't feel comfy. The other part of it is that at this point its not just my money into the thing. And yes I know I'm not going to get the 2600 I'm still working on cleaning up the paint, and have everything to do a proper job of it. person who had it before had taken a paint brush to the thing. I had about half a day for painting before it started raining. Posting pics of the underside is no issue at all. I need to thing gone and believe me I know I'm not going to get the full 2600 for it but need to be able to get as much as I possibly can. Passed inspection friday and tech told me that only thing I might want to do is rubberize the underside and in a few years replace the floor pans. So really not in bad shape.
  5. Lol I know absolutely nothing at all about jeeps which was why I posted it in first place. Without ideas on what it could be I would be sitting there for hours probably just attempting to trace the leak and scratching my head.
  6. It is a 4.0L Inline 6, Auto. I'm pretty sure its not lifted at all. This thing nor any other vehicle of mine has ever gone to a shop for work while I've owned it. The only time this has been in one was for inspection. I looked at this myself. Valve Cover was changed maybe month ago now? I've not seen any leaking from up top as of yet. Yes it is dripping from those areas but this is also with the truck just sitting and not running for over a week. The leak goes back beyond the stated point as well. I've seen both regular oil at that spot and further back its leaking a small amount of tranny fluid. I have the Haynes for this thing but at times it does not seem very helpful really. I'm going to look up the things suggested and see if I can figure out what it causing it. Once I'm out of work tomorrow will check some of them, It gets interesting though complex has pretty strict rules about not working on vehicles yet when its dead there is really no choice in the matter lol.
  7. Its a good quesstion. I've hard a hard time remembering at times that my Cobalt is not a column shift and also that every time I park the MJ to disengage the parking brake. So many times I've tried to put my Balt into gear with the washer stick on the column and thankfully only once or twice I've forgotten the parking on the MJ lol. Like others that I'm kinda partial to the stripped down bits of it (Other than the dummy light dash though)
  8. Alright so about a week ago the starter died on me. It has been sitting in the parking lot since then because have to wait for next pay to get a new one. Well during the week I noticed that there was a sizable oil spot on the ground. When I went under to pull the starter I noticed that it appeared to be coming from the bell housing (Think that is what its called lol). I'm wondering what could be leaking? is there some type of seal between the engine and tranny that can go bad? I've never actually dealt with anything that has required lifting an engine or dropping a tranny really so I don't know what i could be. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I want to note that the dripping (which is no constant to be seen but enough that the sizable spot always seems fresh) starts right at the oil drain and bell housing (it looks as if doing it from both) and continue in random spots going towards to rear for about 2 feet. If I can get pics tomorrow with phone will post them
  9. I was wondering would it be the same to swap the cluster as in this thread? http://comancheclub.com/topic/37779-1989-gauge-cluster-swap/ I didn't want to hijack some ones elses thread so figured just make a new one. Getting the cluster is not going to be hard at all its more of what will I need in order to complete it? I've seen so many threads for all the years around 87 lol. Just curious as will be hitting the yard soon to grab a set of mirrors once some cash comes in and would grab the cluster at the same time.
  10. Sweet this sounds quite a bit simplier than I thought it would be. Well as it stands this thing just failed inspection last night. What it failed for was not that bad really. Passenger outer tie rod end, Small hole on drivers side that goes to cab, Cracked brake line over rear axle. So overall really really not bad. got an extra ten days to get the stuff done and while under there for that going to check out the 4x4 and also re-installl the sway bar as well. thank you both for the prompt response! @JohnJ92131 Honestly I'm not sure about the visor (it came with the truck). I'm going to be getting rid of it once it warms up as it takes a decent chunk of view out. I also just installed new to me buckets (which happen to have the curved rails lol) and that is not helping. :yeah that: I even did something different. Since the motor was bad on mine, I opened it up and took the little fork off, slid the rods into position to what it would be like in 4x4 and put the fork back to lock the 2 pieces together permanently. Wasnt too tough, and I never have to worry about it again.
  11. I was wondering if you might be willing to explain this a little more. I do apologize I forgot to ask before
  12. The rockers are actually just sprayed down with rustoleum. I'm going to be doing the bottom to prevent more rust this summer. may end up sanding down and going with that idea.
  13. Definitely definitely going to look into it. There are a number of places where I can go out and take it on some trails here. Also right now most of the roads I go down get very slushy. Its kinda fun though doing a mini drift onto my road lol. I was actually wondering what to do with it. I've got it back on the truck at the moment but its annoying me as I'm on the highway it almost buzzes at a certain speed. Its tightened down as much as it can be but I think the people did not put it on completely straight. during the summer I'm going to be taking it off and bondo the holes and then paint the roof to match the rest of the truck. Ty! Thank you all for to warm welcome. As for the tank last time i fully filled it near empty it took 22 someodd gallons to get it full. this is beastly. This truck is definitely solid so far I've done the valve cover gasket, Exhaust gasket (which lead me to findout there is a bolt snapped off), re-installed stock airbox, painted, buckets. so really not bad.
  14. Currently driving a school bus. It's interesting but I also repair laptops and such on side
  15. lol I doubt it. Supposedly accoridng to him what is rare is finding a seven foot bed and the ginormous fuel tank ect ect. Its why I said you guys could tell me lol. This first picture is showing the condition I got the truck in. The guy had painted it with a paint brush. This second picture is newer. I've painted one side of it, Right now its in the driveway with the new to me buckets sitting in it half bolted down lol. I'm still working on some things. I'm going to be looking into swapping the cluster so it is not just dummy lights. I've also got to look as to why it is not kicking into 4x4. Axle will disconnect and stuff just no 4 wheel lol.
