aussie's are said to be the strongest of the lunchbox lockers. with that said you can get a lockright cheaper than 270. you can get a dana 30 aussie straight from aussie for 239 plus shipping. and a lockright from porc for the same price. there is actually a new aussie on ebay for 229+$15 shipping
this is primarily a trail rig but mississippi doesn't check anything like that for inspection. all we have to have is all working lights and horn, good windshield and legal tint if windows are tinted and thats about it.
i know it won't fit in the stock location. i was going to put an xj tank in the bed to replace the stock tank and get it out of harms way. was gonna go with an xj tank because they are easy to find.
you'll have to get a cj bellhousing for a t-18 or t150. then get the bellhousing modified to accept the cps.then you'll have to figure out which clutch to use and pilot bearing. would probably be alot easier to find an ax15
will the mj fuel sender/pump fit in a xj fuel tank? my mj tank started leaking and is pretty rusty so i'm thinkin about getting a xj tank and sticking it in the bed. i tried searchin but the search here hasn't worked too well for me.
if the south woulda won we'd have it made. and yeah i wouldn't consider ms or la as the southwest at all. but he included them in his map so i spoke up.
it might not have been a pcv valve. i'm just going off of memory so it might have just been a 90. also the jeep doesn't have the stock airbox lid. somebody before me put an aftermarket cone filter on the intake tube. there is also a small filter on a small tube next to the air filter.
yeah i have the skinny one in the back. but on the front i believe all thats on mine is a pvc valve stuck in the front hole with a piece of hose going nowhere. can't get to it to look right now. had to move it out of the garage for the hurricane. i'll get it back in there tomorrow and see if i can figure it out.
i have an 87 mj 4.0 and the vacuum line for the pcv valve is not connected to anything. the vent line on the back of the valve cover is connected to the intake manifold. just trying to figure out where its supposed to go.
