  1. here is my '86 comanche x. got it with no exhaust no brakes and a knock in the motor. Now its a a newer '94 2.5 out of a wrangler. 5spd is also about to go in for it. did a custom dual 2.5" cat back with some no name exhaust that it very load and about drives you out of the truck when you are on the highway. After that we just had to make a new bumper for the rear. got some 3" square stock and made that. made a cage around the plate to protect that and put the dual exhaust through the cage on either side of the plate. Now the only rust to be found on it was a little surface rust on the body which explains the paint job. plus it had to be different. Next was the 5" cherokee lift kit in the front with a soa in the rear. Sorry for the pics with the stock wheels and the 265 snow tires. (its been snowing all week here). But I've lost all my pics from this summer do to a computer crash. but I can tell you in the summer it ran on 31" xterains with cherokee sport wheels. Future plans for the next few cold months include a bronco 9" rear with a waggy 44 front. A 5spd. 4.10's. And i am currently looking for some decent 33"s to go on my new dc1 wheels. sorry it so small it was taken on a phone. Haha got in trouble at school for this one.
  2. here's couple pis of mine. i did a 5" in the front front a cherokee and a soa in the rear. the tires (for winter) are 265-75's it will clear 33's though. if thats what you are going for. Haha that was a funny one. Put the lift in the week before so the next monday at school i parked on my friends 33'. the school didnt like it to much. Sorry about the pic it was taken with a phone.
  3. ohh haha i did not know that. thats kinda cool though.
  4. i did a SOA in the rear of mine and used the origional springpads. I put a 5" kit for a cherokee in the front of mine and it sits level.
  5. yeah your motor would be a TBI setup. its the only way the 2.5l 4 cylinders came. hey and if someone knows why it does this mine does the same thing. :D but up here it just dropped to 3 degrese today and thats when it does it for me.
  6. anyone know about how wide the waggy 44 front is compared to the stock 30?
  7. Found this guy on a diffrent forum but I had to show everyone here. It is a mustang site but I did not belive that people were this dumb untill I saw this. http://www.mustangforums.com/forum/show ... p?t=368307
  8. What I would do is go to a junk yard and pull the brakets for the bucket seats out of a cherokee. You will still have to cut the mounts out the the braket for the bench seat but atleast then you have a frame that won't sit to high and will be able to move them each seperatly.
  9. Does anyone know if the swap to a 4.0 TB is an easy swap? Also is it really worth it?
  10. I know mine was doing the same thing. it will either click or nothing will happen at all. With mine it was the solenoid. It had bad connections to the batery and the wire at the bottom was loose. I would check all those before you go to crazy into it.
  11. hey thanks guys it is allot of help. I'm going to try the tps and the cps as soon as i get home. ( At dh mountain bike serries finals for the weekend. so no good tools here. Well for that stuff) thanks again guys.
  12. I have an 88' MJ with a 4 banger with an automatic that as I'm driving along it has sudden loss in my throttle. Almost like the fuel pump shuts off or it looses ignition. It just stops all throttle response and looses power. then just as suddenly as it happend it goes away. Now ive gone threw both the fuel system and the ignition and i don't see anything wrong with it. Now I'm a highschool kid in the schools automitive class. (not a good speller) and i have allot of help from my dad who was a mechanic for 20+ years and can basicly hel me with everything. So it is completly possible i missed something. if you have had this or have any ideas that would be great if you could help. here's a pic of my MJ on my friends cj. i like it.
