  1. I am having trouble with my coolant bubbling out of the jug after I cut it off. Here is what I done so far ( I know all does not protain to this problem) changed the oil & filter, fuel filter, thermostat, battery, starter altenator and the lid for the jug. I had a mechanic get the air out of the system. He said that it could possibly be a cracked head. There is no oil in the waater and no water in the oil. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks again, Shane
  2. Now I have replaced the cp to the jug. It sill blows the coolane out but not as bad. What else could it be. A friend of mine told me that it could have a cracked head, but I do not see that bring that there is no water in the oil or vice versa. Just to check things off the list: New thermonstat, new radiator hoses, rebuilt alternator, new battery,( I know that has nothing to do with prob, but it neede it too) and new cap for the coolant jug. As always any advice is appreciated . Thanks Shane
  3. I got home from work one day and as I pulled into the driveway I noticed that my MJ was smoking from under the hood. When I stopped and raised the hood I heard a bubbling sound and the coolant running out from the resivour. My temp ;ight never came on, but my battery gauge did. I put on a thermostat, changed the radiator hoses, put on a new water pump, and had the altenator rebuilt which it was almoast shot. After all that I still have thecoolant bubbling over. There is no water in the oil or no oil in the water. Soa what could this be? It is an 89 automatic 4x4. Any advice is greatfully appreciated. Thanks, Shane
  4. I got my Mj tailgate decals friday from jeepsticker.com amd they look great. Spencer di the best job I have seen with making decals. I am looking for a 4 Wheel Drive decallike used to be on the old Willys trucks. There is a pic of in in last month of jpmagazine on a 55. I also believe that iy was on the CJ5 in dukes of hazzard. Spencer said that he could make it if I find a good pic. Please any help is appreciated. I like each letter to be 1 piece and not the split letters. Thanks
  5. I got them from hoodlouvers.com. There is and add for them in JP magazine. No there are no drip rails. Honestly, I pulled in the garage after work and being in pretty heavy rain and I couldn't tell that it was any wetter than from any other hard rain. Granted if you hold a water hose right on it I am sure that it gets wetter. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend the product to anyone.
  6. Nice truck. Those tires really shine. I like that bumper seeing how you di not have to cut the fender..
  7. I am putting 3 inch lift on my 89 MJ and I have decided that I wanted to run 31x10.50R15. It will be a daily driver with no major offroad. Maybe a little trail. I want a tough look, so what do you recommend? I do not want a street tire like is on there now. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks again
