Got my results back today, passed the FE exam!!! Woot! Turns out, the 3 other guys in my senior design team didn't pass it. I was kinda surprised because I walked out in the afternoon session after 2 hours, think I was the second person to leave.....usually not a good sign. And so, the drinking commences! :clapping:

Yup, friend of mine had it on his XJ, he removed it quickly.

Just a passing concept. The type of thing that would be shown at autoshows and such to help generate interest in the product line, but not any actual production hope, they do things like this all the time.

JF is unlike any other Jeep forum out there, more bad information gets passed around there than anywhere else. I get the feeling the reason those people stay there and pass around bad information is that whenever they leave that site they get the smack down from their bad information. And, rather than suck it up and move on, run back to JF where they can just keep passing out their bad information without anyone calling them out on it. Pete and Wade both post over there pretty extensively... :yes: You must have never frequented JU... Oh, I've been there too. Some real winners on both those sites.

Yep. I love flatheads. You could do about anything to a Ford flathead and it would still run smooth as silk. One of the favorite cars I have owned was a 53 Ford Victoria with a 51 Lincoln 337 flathead engine. It used to eat the early 55 and up Chev V8s for lunch. Ah, you reminded me of yesteryear Jim. Seems like a good deal. Too bad its further off. Also, one of my first jeeps are a police auction special, nicknamed "bullet". 36 bullet holes, homicide evidence for 5 years, t-boned, bullet holes in seats and in the passenger seatbelt. Bothered me for the first week then I got over it.

Round here you can pickup a good NP242 for $100, personally I would go that route, get to keep the full time for when you want it. (nice in the rain and such)
