just do it. i just got my first one and I'm in love already. its a 2.5 though. and if its an 87, from what i've read, thats good cause AMC not chrysler.

no, i/m not sure of the gearing. need to geter up in the air and do the rotations, or look for the tag. are the 456's that much more desireable? and why would they use such a low gearing in a 2.5?

i need the rubber (L shaped) elbow fitting that sits in the valve cover and attaches to a breather hose that goes to the air cleaner. it's a 87 2.5. the valve cover has 3 openings. oil fill is first, then right behind it, the piece i need and then another in the rear. please help as the dealer can't. the rubber is torn and it's blowing oil out.

1987 comanche larado lwb, 2.5 automatic 2 tone charcole grey on black. maybe a repaint. cordovan interior. air conditioned. sliding rear window and it came w/ a lund visor included. 162,000 i'm the 4th owner. the kid i got it from only had it for 2 months and before that, it only had 6,000 miles put on it from 10/08 to 12/12. i ran the carfax and it's clean. i reside on a barrier island in new jersey but the truck is from farther inland which is evident from no rust. d35 w/ 410 gears

i need to do this too. i have 2 exhaust mani bolt heads broke. how much of a pita is removing air filter and throttle body? what else needs to be pulled for access?

first off, it's a 2.5. now, i have 2 exhaust bolt heads broken off. how diificult is it to pull off the tb and mani to drill them out? is the intake attached to the exhaust mani? forgive me but i'm a shade tree wrench and am sometimes paranoid of getting over my head in the drive way.

does anyone have the hardware for mounting the spare tire? new to manche's here and it looks like they are on a cable system and my cable is broke. looking for the whole set up if u got one.
