Don't jinx me! My last XJ was an '01 and I never had a problem. Sold it with about 140K on it. My tool box is a visa card, so "tossing the head" it's a costly preventative option. I suppose the alternative is more expensive though.

I put a chrome FEY bumper on my old Eliminator ... my present bumper is "good" based on what you might see for an unrestored 26 year old vehicle. I know someone had an NOS painted bumper on here not too long ago, but I can't find the thread. I think there was talk of a raffle???? I appreciate the feedback, thanks!

Picked up a 2001 XJ. California and Virginia registration history. Unmolested, pristine interior, everything works, 93K miles ...

The seller posted this in several locations on Craigslist as well as eBay. (Very) Nice truck, but only a fool would spend that much when you could pay someone to restore one with your preferences for less, or do it yourself for half as much (+ sweat equity).
