i was thinkin of goin and yankin a ax15 and the t-case from a newer xj out of a junkyard...could i just bolt the ax15 up usin the t-case it comes with? instead of replacin my output shaft?... it should work as long as its a I-6 like mine right?

hey guys i just got a grey bench seat to go into my comanche, i did have tan interior now i want grey... i think grey and black looks cool, but anyways i wanna know where to get this stripe! Image Not Found id like to get it in light to dark grey...

thanks for the help guys.. mine doesnt seem to be leaking at all but i know there is water in there.. so my oil is prolly milk now.. but mine won't go into 4th at all.. it just grinds tryin.. i think its a gonner.. but hopefully it will if i fill it full of good oil.. otherwise.. time to save up for a ax-15

i have the pos peugot... i know i need to change the oil in it but the drain plug is a B**** i can't find anything to fit in the square hole to let the old oil drain... i tried the regular sockets... is there a tool? or trick? i couldnt use vicegrips bc theres no room to turn them

its a 2wd dodge so now that i think back its prolly a d44 but its still free lol and i may use it or sell it idk yet

a DANA 60! haha i was at my church youth group lastnight, they had an old dodge truck they were letting kids destroy with sledge hammers and stuff...they rolled it over and i noticed the d60 i asked the guy what he was gonna do with it...he said scrap it...so i asked for the axle he told me if i can pull it today before he takes it...i can have it...i was like :eek:

so my v6 5spd tranny outta my cherokee is a no go...? i was pretty sure if i just gut the tranny out of it and use the bellhousing out of my manche it should work, iam sure its a ba10 in the cherokee so if i just use my comanches bellhousing it should work right? i just wanna make sure bc i don't have too much money to throw around and this tranny is free from my cherokee

so would it work? the inline 6 is a 6cyl and the v6 is a 6cyl so if i just take the tranny only...and put it to my comanches bellhousing would it work?

would my cherokees 5sp tranny work if i change the bellhousing? its a 86 2.8 v6 cherokee

is my best be just to find a good tranny out of another mj?

well i was on my way to work this morning...actually a few mins ago haha, but as i was goin down the road minding my own i saw a little flash of a truck turning off the road id know that boxy little truck anywhere it was a comanche!...i immediately followed and pulled up to his house as he was getting out... the guy was drivin a non lifted spray painted flat black comanche haha...mini-me...i asked him if he would lift it but its 2wd..then i asked what year it was..he told me '84 :nuts: ...iam guessin its an 86 i didnt hear it run but i think 86s are 2.8 v6s and stuff...but it was cool to see mini-me.

hey guys iam pretty sure i have the crappy peugot tranny... i have a 88 4.0 5spd manche...and the tranny won't go into 4th.. are the trannys out of tj's a bolt up swap?

hey brett i saw you lifted the rear of your hood on your manche... did it help with over heating i was wheeling mine yesterday in almost 100 degree weather and it over heated...my friends cherokee was worse...

brett i would have to say i LOVE your black comanche ive modeled mine after yours..iam swamped2a on naxja... iam also into small scale rc trucks and modeled my little toyota truck after yours since they don't make comanche models... Image Not Found but i to was thinking of having a 2nd manche for the road but i don't think id ever consider lowering it i would just lift it like 3inches and have mt's or something but iam sure whatever you do with this build will be cool...and the color on that first lowered manche is cool what is it?

did comanches ever come with power options? seats.. windows.. locks...etc
