benifits vs. woes of welding rear diff
xjcrazy09 replied to james750's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have a spool in mine and its not that big of a deal. It doesn't squeal that much unless I'm aired down. Of course it not really my DD but I do use it frequently. -
New Member Project...suggestions?
xjcrazy09 replied to xjcrazy09's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Newest Install. Rock Lights that help with wheeling when after dark! plus they look sweet driving down the road :D Getting close to having a whole bunch of updates on the Comanche, which should include: AW4 Dana 44( w/ front locker ) Currie Hi-Steer Upgrade Treks Custom Long arm Hope to have at least 2 or more of these before wheeling season is over. Opinions? -
WindRock OHV Saturday October 11th
xjcrazy09 replied to xjcrazy09's topic in Adventure Planning / Regional Groups
Saturday was a good ride! we had 4 vehicles in our group and rode all day without no carnage. We had a short delay once when the Toyota wouldn't start but quickly fixed and continued riding. For any of you that are familiar with the area, we rode 15 as a test run for the Ford truck, than went and rode 3, then proceeded to start trail 11 ( backwards up atomic ridge ). After making it up the first part of atomic ridge which proved to me a great trail which was difficult and fun, we did some trail maintenance on our "New Trail" that we had cut in last fall. By that time it was dark and we decided to head on home. Tyler decided he wanted to slide a tree between his bumper and his grill It wasnt really dark here but you can see that I had my rock lights on :D -
If anyone is near Oliver Springs, Tn on Saturday October the 11th. Myself in my Comanche and several other of my friends. ( 1 Toyota on 37s, 1 Grand Cherokee on 33s, and one Ford F150 on 35s ) will be doing some trail riding. If anyone is interested, either post up here or send me a pm. Thanks!

very nice work, I'm intrested now :D -
I don't think I could ever drive anything that is front wheel drive. I just don't know if i could stand it. If i was to be a "ricer" it would have to be something like a single or dual turbo supra, a turbo'd 240sx, or I kinda like the Honda s2000( not factory, lots of engine mods )
-
What ticks me off more than anything is that every single ricer has to have the soup can exhaust. It sounds horrible! like a sick weedeater going down the street. I don't mind ricers as long as they sound good, for example the STI. just a 4 cylinder but it has a nice deep throaty sound. love that! my 02
