Casper2000 replied to 88MJ-OHV's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I do belive that a soft plug was the reason my H.O. blew apart in the first place. -
Got the rad and fans put in this weekend got the kick down cable made up and put in. Still need to get the tranny lines made up along with drive shafts, fuel lines, and rad hose's. But on the brite side i found my TC now i have to rebuild it  The big tube is the power steering cooler that came off the WS6 :dunno: I think i might ues it none the less Thanks for stayin tuned.

 Sorry i have them already in the truck. But this is what i have to show. don't mind the big metal tube its the power steering cooler from the LS1's donor still not sure if I'm going to use it or not yet.

new guy lookin for suggestions on a resto/ mod
Casper2000 replied to AlastA.M.C.'s topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
:agree: Half the stuff dosent fit right and you have to mod it to fit. If you go with a V8 swap try to get everthing lined up and do some research and make a list of everything your going to need and check it twice. I'm doing an LS1 swap now and I'm finding more crap to get almost every day. Only because i didnt do enough research first. Good luck with it and enjoy doing it. -
Well i went with dual puller's with the idea of stayin mostly on the road with some offroad on the side. Has anyone done both? Add pusher and puller. How well is this going to work if i just over lap the edges of all three fans.

Thanks! I wasnt sure what was better. The size is set in stone :wall: Should i try and fab up some kind of shroud

Well welcome to the club. What kind of truck are you wanting to have a DD or trail rig? IMHO i would get it running the best it can then start on the looks and mod as you see fit from there. Do what your paycheck can handel. -
Hey guys. Can anyone recommend weather or not i should run puller or pusher fans for this LS1 swap I'm doing? :dunno: I got that custom Alum rad and its only got room for maybe a Dual 10" but nothing taller then that. With it being custom the normal upgrades i have seen guys do WILL NOT WORK !! Thanks in advance

:hmm: I don't think it really matters now. I do belevie we got a pissed off person on our hands for a littel bit
-
  Got it in their finally it thought it was going to be harder then it really was. still kind of close on the drivers side tons of room in the back by the firewall as well as the pass side. I am just waiting on the headers and TC witch I'm having no luck in finding. I think I'm taking friday off from it and clean up the shop some. Anyone got an NP208 that came of an j10 or grand waggy 80 on up will work. Thanks for the complaments and advice to this point and i hope i get this done by the end of summer.

Casper2000 replied to 88MJ-OHV's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
 WOW !! Man i hope its just running down the front of the motor then across the oil pan's lip. IMHO I would pull the dip stick to make sure it wasnt full of antifreez it will show up on the stick it might not be green but it will be wet or even look really milky. Till then i wouldnt run it till i knew it wasnt in the oil pan. Was it running bad or kind of under powered before hand? -
FrankZ First of all let me be the one to say I'm sorry no one could give you a good answer right away I'm sure if you give us sometime by tonight i will find that angle for you if someone dosent beat me to it first. Most of us just start building with the truck right their and figure it out as we go.
