  1. How about the heat to remove the sticker, then the eraser thing on your link tj, then Goo-Gone or whatever? SW2
  2. I ordered a heat gun...not sure if I will have to stones to use it or not... SW2
  3. Thanks.... I missed that... and DANG I really like the "AFTER" look... SW2
  4. I'm thinking this is a maybe... at least the first parts... Leaving the stripes and just axing the "Pioneer" letters... not sure I'd be able to extend the stickers down in a way that would match well enough... Maybe something like this...
  5. What is this "Rust" that you speak of?
  6. I'm considering getting rid of the Black/Grey Stripes and the "Pioneer" wording on my White MJ? First, Opinions, Yes or No, Secondly, If Yes, do I have to worry about faded paint and the white color being different between where the sticker was and the rest of the body. (thus making it look horrible anyhow). I have no plans to paint the whole thing, because other than a few tiny spots, it overall in good shape. I was going to try to Photochop the before and after but frankly I was just too lazy... so here is just the before and you can imaging what It might be like with out the strip and wording?
  7. I didn't think there were any in the Dash (not on 89 Pioneer at least)... there are "false" vents that look like speakers... 5.25 in Doors and 4x6 in Back behind the Seats...
  8. Not everyone is CA is like this BTW... Yes, there are a fair number of Weirdo's like this (maybe a disproportionate share), but there are also a good number of people who think this is crap like everyone else. I whole heartedly support or Troops, regardless if I believe in the reasons they are in the places they are or not! While I won't even get into the politics of the state, since I'm in the minority on most of my views (and not a native Californian anyhow), it's important that people know that not everyone and every place in CA is like Berkley (Thank God!) :USAflag: I too thank anyone that has ever served to protect our country! SW2
  9. I guess thats why they call them Gamblers... You just really don't know what they look like... lol I think they'll look good.. I emailed the guy.... and hope to go take a look this weekend hopefully... Will post Before and After pics if I end up getting them...
  10. I'm not sure those look a little different... the 5 holes seems bigger on these on the truck and less space between the big holes.
  11. I'm not sure exactly how to take that... ;) SW2
  12. If you were in Wisconsin... about $1.50... Depends on how much usable stuff you could pull from it and use and/or sell...
  13. Anyone run the Jeep 5 Hole Gambler Rims on their MJ? I have a buddy that owes me for the RE Adj Rear Trac Bar that I gave him and he has a nice set of rims/tires from his TJ that I was considering seeing if they might fit on my MJ. I have the Gamblers on my TJ and really like the way they look on that. AT Tires, 29x10.5r15 (he thinks) <- Fit under Stock Height MJ? Look OK on a White MJ, or too Blingy? Not his Rims, just the style Any thoughts? SW2
  14. There are lots of those pesky Mercedes critters out in Scotts Valley and Aptos :D Glad to hear no one was hurt. You know... the Land where the Soccer Mom's and Yuppies run over the place!
  15. It's now got a little Mercedes scratch on it, but it's not bad...When I get ready I'll look you up (might not be soon, unless I "fall" into a nice black OEM Black one). Wade
  16. Yah, just finished both fronts... I just wedged and open ended wrench up there and started to twist the shock tube from underneath and the thing spun right off... didn't have to take off the washer tank. Was too easy and I feel dumb for even posting the question before I went out there and tweaked with it. Hope the new shocks (and Ball Joints I did last week) take care of the "clunks" that have been bugging me up front. SW2
  17. Not even.... I picked up it Mid December
  18. Got the new Monroe Sensa-trac Fronts today and was sizing up the job... any hints on getting the driver side top bolt off? It's under the Brake Fluid reservoir and there is no way I'm getting a socket on there... Any general tips... It's been 8 or 9 years since I've done shocks when I swapped out my stock ones on the TJ. SW2
  19. Going to Work today... stopped at a stop light a few cars back from the intersection. Traffic slowly started to go on Green... I guess the lady behind me was in a hurry and she decided that the front end of her newish looking Mercedes ML Series MiniSUV would look good with some busted front trim and headlights from the rear bumper of my MJ. Barely scratched my ugly Smittybilt Tube Bumper that I plan on replacing at some point anyhow. We didn't even exchange info... Moral of the story, don't ram your $50K SUV into my MJ or you will go home with some busted stuff...I'm guessing the damage to hers was more than I paid for mine. (not necessarily what I think it's worth) SW2
  20. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......
  21. Not sure if this is right, but Per the Husky Website Make: JEEP Model: CHEROKEE Year: 1984 - 1994 Product: Front Floor Liner Description: Cherokee 2Dr & 4Dr Style: Front Floor Liners Part Number & Available Colors: * 30001 - BLACK * 30002 - GREY * 30003 - TAN $60ish at various online shopping establishments (which seems pricey, but they are good quality)... 22. You are "Da MAN" JeepcoMJ... I'm gonna owe you big...Someday maybe I can find something you need out this way to repay the favor! ** Edit ** Pat, If you look close at the two pics you can see the swap to the window cranks you sent too... THX Wade
  23. Yeah, I dazzled with the photo's and snuck in a question... I'm gonna look at it more tonight when I get the kids to bed... might be able to fashion up some kind of internal bracket or something... Nothing a little Duct Tape couldn't take care of I'm sure... Wade
  24. One is over under the TCase Bezel on the left... just pop the bezel thing up and you should see it.
  25. I got my new 1/2 Console from JeepcoMJ this past week and had a chance to install it over the weekend... below are the before and after shots... Anyhow to the question... any ideas for helping to secure the thing on the right hand side where the screw hole clip thing has busted off inside the console? I used a washer and it "seemed" tight but the first time I shifted down to Reverse, the whole right hand side of the console shifted and now "floats" around when I shift... BEFORE AFTER Anyhow I think it looks better.... thanks Pat! SW2
