That makes Baby Jesus Cry...

That kind of clashes between the Round Fogs and Square Heads... I think you need another poll...

I'll try the PnP/JY next time I go (Dang was just there this past weekend rustling up a Speedo Cable)... SW2

Thanks... I don't know that I have any of those hooks or bolts still on mine... will take a look in the daylight tomorrow! SW2

Imho, I like the 2nd look with the smaller rectangle lights tons better! BTW, where is the ComancheClub Hat Love in the pic (I assume that's you installing the lights on the bar)... We see how you are...

...Where/how does the OEM Jack and extensions mount? Mine are bouncing around under my seat and I don't see any OEM hooks or latches or anything... It's not that problem some under the seat, but someday, once I get this thing trail ready, I don't really want it flopping around while off road... Thanks... #2 On another note, One of the reasons I like the forum is I don't get hammered for asking the "simple" questions... you ask this on other Jeep forums that I frequent, and you would FLAMED big time for asking something that a 5 year old should know. Since I did a search and glanced thru my Service Manual and don't have an owners manual, this is this best way for me to learn this kind of stuff... Since I've never really been inside another MJ other than mine, never owned an XJ, I don't know how some of this stuff works. THANKS ALL!

OUCH, $45 to keep my door propped open, I dunno it's worth that... http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/parts/ ... d/810.html $21.95 on Ebay. The item # you posted for $21.95 apperaed to be for the rear catch for an XJ...fronts were also $45 on FleaBay as well...?

Is there something that is suppose to hold the door in an open position, or at least put some pressure to hold open just a bit? I see a little metal tab with some indents on both sides, which seem like they should catch on something on the inside of the door...My pass anger side seems to catch and hold the door open (say if I'm parked on an incline)... the Drivers side has the same metal tab, but in no way holds anything open... I've even tried to hold pull the tab forward (toward the back of the truck as you are standing behind the open door facing forward), and it has ZERO latch capability. Is this something replace/fixable? Man I just looked at my old posts, and I sure ask some trivial questions huh?

Well, no dice for the 4 or 5 things that I emailed them about.... "Dear Jeep/Scout/AMC owner, We do not have the parts that you are looking for at this time. We have new inventory arriving daily so please check back with us again soon. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. J & W Auto Wreckers' -

What a tremendous pain in the pooper... I just spent a couple hours at the PnP taking apart XJ Dashes to try to get the right cable...I've discovered that there are at least 3 different types of Speedo Cables in use (all out of 89 or 90 XJ's, and one '86). The cable that came out of my MJ is a solid Single Piece from the dash down to the T-case and the Clip that connects to the back of the Speedo is Crimped onto the Cable itself. Then there is the 2 Piece Cable and another that the clip is connected to the wire itself and comes out of the tube. So I had to disassemble about 10 XJ's to find the right cable and one that wasn't busted. I assume I could have used any, but since that's what came out of mine, that's what I'm going to put back in. BTW, no MJ's at all (not terribly surprised), probably 20 XJ's... I didn't really have time to look thru everything, but was hopeing to maybe find a white one with a good pass side fender or front clip, but no dice. I did get some grey screw covers that were missing from mine. I already have a Rear 44, so wasn't really even looking at Axles or anything. So now I hope to get this one installed and put my dash back together this evening. #2

I'll reserve me judgment until someone lifts one 6" and drops 35"s on it and then see how it grow on me...

Forgot I had this, found it stuck in my wallet... I thought it seemed fitting so I scanned it, even if I don't know when I'm going to get out again...

Funny you should mention BBQ... for lunch today was going to woof down a big pile of Pulled Pork that I smoked a while back... not sure if that will happen or not... My personal fav... I can do the Brisket (unless it's burnt ends) and Chicken and Ribs (prefer smoking Spares to B-Backs, and don't really go for the Beef "Dino" ribs), but I always go back to the Pulled Pork Shoulder... YUMMMM!
