  1. Also, will newer transmissions/transfer cases work or do I have to get an older one from around '88? I want to get an AX-15 and it was like '89 that they started using these (correct me if I am wrong).
  2. How can i bypass or install the vaccum system for the 4wd?
  3. Ok, here is my setup. I bought a package deal from walmart (sony xplod head unit 45wX4, 2 180w 6.5" speakers, and 2 250w 6x9" speakers) for 95$. I also bought a visonik 300w amp and 10" sub for 30$ from walmart also. I had the stock rear speakers and one grille (got cracked tho). Cut out bigger holes in the trim for the 6x9's and used some plywood for backings and black faux leather to cover them. Then made cutouts in the carpet of the doors for the 6.5's (fit pretty good with no cutting, some drilling required) The head unit came with a cage that mounts in the dash almost perfectly with all of the fitting tabs pushed out. I'll try to get some pics of my setup soon.
  4. Ya, GOW1 is really fun. They have lots of brain teasers and puzzles but in a old greek/roman setting. But it can be really hard at some times.
  5. My first and only truck to date (heck I'm only 15) 1988 MJ that I bought for 400$ on my birthday this year. Only thing wrong with it is that its 2wd, and has a little rust on the back-left wheel well and the floorboards are rusted (need to get that repaired). In process of restoration since I can't drive untill I'm 16.
  6. Thanks for all of the reccomendations, I have no experience with this. This is my first MJ so I'm just trying to see what's the best. I want this to be ok for a daily driver, but still have enough clearance for going off the beaten path.
  7. What would be the best value suspension kit for about 3-4" of lift? I have been looking at the rocky road suspensions, but I don't know from personal experience. Any recomendations welcome.
  8. Yeah, i have a 4.0l. I live in lanesboro, Its about an hour south of Rochester. How much would you want for the stuff
  9. Hey, I just started restoring an 88 Comanche (5 spd. Manual). I was wondering what the easiest way to install 4wd on this. I live in Minnesota so it would be really nice to have it in the winter. Thanks for any help offered.
