  1. well i got my jeep all pieced back togather after my wreck, but now it won't start. Right after the wreck i started it twice, no problems, then took the battery out to work on it, put it back in and now it's not getting any fuel. there is a python remote start installed in it from the PO (don't have the remote) and when we put the battery back in (key was off) it started cranking, somehow the system went haywire. the fuel pump won't come on either. i'm down to 2 solutions, the security system shut off the fuel when it reset, or my fuel pump went out. i have checked every fuse in that truck related to the fuel and all are good. :dunno:
  2. i did not trace em, but when i pulled the lines off, tranny fluid came out.
  3. yes one in the radiator then one in front, so ya guess i got a tow package. cool! 8)
  4. working on my mj try to get it fixed from the wreck. taking out my radiator and stuff and in front of the a/c condenser i have a small 2nd tranny cooler, the xj i'm pulling parts off of does not have this. why would it be there?
  5. found a 1990 4x4 4dr Cherokee with a bad 4.0 for $400, going to go take a look tomorrow and more than likely drag it home, it's got all the parts i need to fix mine, and a whole bunch more i will need/want in the future :D :D hell i'm more excited for the bucket seats than anything else
  6. its going to end up being my fault since i was last in line and there was no wrecks until i came a long. i got the oil working right, my temp though, at cold it reads 210 and normal operating it reads about 260/280.
  7. You got about a $200 repair if you buy those parts used. thought you didn't really want to get used radiators?

  9. Unless you are like me and don't like the '97 + look ;) . I think they should be left alone and kept looking the way that they were meant to be. Glad it's not any worse than that and that it is able to be saved. From your other description, I was imagining it a lot worse than what I see. yeah right after it sure seemed bad, but now that i got it home its not as bad as i thought.
  10. no ;) , looking at it from the passenger side you can't till i hit anything. i just got it home and took off the the grill and the whole front clip thingy. needs a new radiator, A/C condenser, and tranny cooler. those will be the major $$$, then a new hood,front clip and grill and head lights ect.........

  14. were i hit was on the far right side of my truck, so my head light, parking light, grill, radiator, bumper, and everything behind that in the engine compartment is all smashed into the engine, will need a new hood to. :fs1: i don't have a camera, so sorry no pictures. :dunno: the guy in front of me got hurt the worst, he got whiplash pretty bad and his back got hurt when his bed smashed into the cab, it bent the cab into the back of his seat.
  15. got to be the cause of a three car pile up :fs1: the first car a brand new yoter stopped first then the ranger in front of me slide sideways and stopped, then i slid into the ranger which smashed it into the yoter, bent the hell out of the rangers frame, his bed came up on top of hood, smashed in my bumper and grill into the radiator which bent into the front of my engine. sure was sad seeing my MJ loaded on to the wrecker, man this sucks! :wall: :wall:
  16. ok got new gage cluster, replaced the oil and temp sensor, the oil works fine but the temp don't, the first sensor i got was from oriellys, so then i went to auto zone and used the part NO. off the write up that pete gave me, the needle never goes under 210 and it usually reads 300 or so, is my gage broke?
  17. i assume i have the TB, i PW my engine a couple weeks back, and when i went to start it up it ran like 3 or 4 grand for about fifteen minutes then it would go back to idle, it did that for half the day then it just quit, runs great now. ( i didn't bother covering anything up :oops: :oops: ) i got lucky, didn't hurt it to bad.

  20. umm. aw4 is automatic trans. that would imply clutches not "clutch". pretty sure you're thinking of an ax15. uh... ok maybe i got mixed up, i had a 4 speed manual in my first MJ, what was that called? i thought it was the Aw4. :???: :???: I have a 4sp auto in the jeep i got now, is that the AW4, either way it seems really strong.
  21. Yeah i got one, it changes your mode of how your tranny shifts. in comfort it will shift at lower rpms, in power it shifts at higher rpms, like for pulling a trailer.
  22. I had one in my last MJ, I took it to hell and back and no problems,.... well the clutch went out but... ;)
