Pete M Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 Yes they did sorta have an available Dana 44, BUT it's not a desirable Dana 44. It's actually a Dana 44a and has an aluminum center section. Not considered very strong and I've read that there's not a ton of aftermarket support. If I remember right, it's under 96-98 (maybe 95 too) Grands with a V8. I saw the cover and I swear it looks like a 44..... could be wrong, but it did have dana in the diamond stamped into the cover... and his is a V8...
