maddzz1
I think the other one might be for the rear wiper on an XJ.
CWLONGSHOT
I think the other one might be for the rear wiper on an XJ. The round one looks more like the light for the power/comfort switch. CW

CW I forgot there was a light there. What is the option for the other switch that goes next to the power/comfort switch. Is it the rear wiper? MJ's don't have another connector in that spot at all. this is as stated the power/comfort connector and it's light connector.

Basically any switch you want to stick in there. But for XJs it was used mostly for the rear wiper or defroster. I used that spot to manually control my electric aux fan. :D

Did you just splice the wire for the fan into the wiring for the rear wiper? then connect to the switch? or do we not even have the wiring? I don't remember if it was there when i had my dash apart

If you use a switch there and other switch blank places on the other side of the dash you have to wire it the old fashioned way. :D It's convenient though as all the OEM SPDT switches and the variety of SPDT momentary contact switches all use standard 1/4" female spade connectors and can be adapted for a wide variety of applications.
