sprtsfrk
I was on the highway, when I pushed in the clutch going about 65 mph, then it made this loud squeel/grinding noise. It happened only when i pushed in the clutch, so i figured it was the throwout bearing/slave cylinder. I got a new clutch kit, and installed it yesterday. I drove it around and it was fine, but this morning starting it up, the same noise came back. I'm gettin frustrated with this truck because every week something else seems to be wrong w it. What could be the cause of this issue?
Oizarod115
you check the clutch master cylinder? theyre prone to going out but ive never heard of it makin noise... just a thought. -nick
sprtsfrk
The noise it makes is from the slave cylinder/ throwout bearing meeting with the pressure plate. It goes in and out of gear real harsh. So I think you're right with the master cylinder. But would this really cause the meet up of these two things w this grind?
