Wildman
Must be one of them 'Super Rare' Jeeps :teehee: Hey thanks for the heads up on that one Don  I'll keep my eye on that one, only 6-1/2 hours east of here  Unless I buy the one I'm looking at tomorrow that's only 2 hours east of here ;)
HOrnbrod
Yeah, it's a bit of a drive from your AO Bob, and with the lousy pics it might be good or bad rust-wise, can't really tell. Might can ask the seller for some better pics?
Wildman
From the bad pictures, the left rear wheel well was gone  But the Meyer plow included makes it interesting :D Yeah, it's a bit of a drive from your AO I got to go out of town to build up the fleet again, I've gotten most of the ones in town already

JeepcoMJ
...it makes me sad that i have such a high turnover rate on my comanches. i guess that comes with my age, and the fact that i don't pay the bills on our property....
aemsee
Hey Bob, If you are seriously interested, I am traveling to Albany tomorrow and should be there late afternoon. Should be a couple hours before the auction ends. If the guy is available i can scoot up and look at it in person for ya. Joe
Wildman
Joe - That's OK, I'll just watch the auction and see what it goes for, it the price is right......then I'll jump on it. To me it looks like a parts only truck from the bad pictures and description. (And bad spelling  ) Heading out now to look at one down near your old home town :D If it's white, with a cap, then I'll know where it came from  Now as I think of it, did you sell your's or you still have it?? This one I'm looking at is an '88 lwb with a 4.0, but you had the 2.5??
aemsee
Mine was a SB with 2.5. It went to a junk yard. Would have kept it around but living in the village didn't make that possible. I stripped off a bunch of stuff, but still keep thinking, darn, should have grabbed that as well. Haven't done much with my 87. Sits for two or three weeks, but starts everytime I get up the gumption to clean the snow and ice off it. I'll run it around town, then park it again. My 11 Y.O. son wants to learn to drive so I'll probably let him drive it around the back field soon. 2.5, auto with a foot of snow in the field, won't be able to get above 5 or 10 mph anyhow:).
