Hello all,

I'm in the middle of rebuilding my rear drum brakes on my 89 Comanche. However, I forgot to take note of the difference in the pads and which one leads and which one trails.

I'm sure someone in this group knows. Below is an image of the pads.

Thanks for all the help...

just a suggestion.change everything.cylinders, hardware, self adjusting cables and adjusting screws.the stuff is cheap and you will have a much better working brake system.

And another suggestion... NEVER have both sides apart at the same time! I don't care how many times you've done drums, it's always good to have the other side as a reference.

Thanks for the suggestions. I purchased a rebuild kit from NAPA. Nearly everything is being replaced. Too late for the one side at a time suggestion. I did take pictures though, but it was too hard to tell from the pictures which pads were which.

I've tried pictures also, but with drums it's not really that helpfull considering how many things are on top of eachother... other things sure.

And yea, thumbs up on getting your parts from NAPA... (coming from the NAPA guy 8) )
