Installed new rad. Look at pics of old one

I installed my new radiator:

I have heard everyone say that the closed system can trap air and lead to overheating. I let the truck run for about a half hour and I didnt have any leaks or overheating. Should I be allset or is there still a chance it will start overheating?

Hey my 4cyls radiator kinda looks like that...

 

And has never once overheated on me :D
