i don't know about that buggy man... heat from transmission on your @$$ and what happens when/if the t-case or a u-joint takes a dump and blows up 6 inches from yuor left arm?

he can certainly bend some tube and weld good but idk about the design of the thing man. i've never built a buggy but i'd like something between myself and moving parts under stress

It isn't done yet and you can see the skill he has. It will be built safe with driveshaft loops and a trans blanket. to potect him. Heat can always be dealt with. Read his threads and you will be amazed..

to me that looks like it will snap right into, I hope that guy adds more to it.. Good fab though... I like the punched out gussets,, jamminz.gif

It's nowhere near done. When it is done your MJ will be a toothpick and his will be a redwood. :D

Here is a quote.

"Just another side project. My friend has been slowly working on an MJ for the past couple of years. He cut the bedsides off and I was tired of looking at the ugly slug. So while he went on christmas vacation I cut the back end of his jeep off! hahahahaha"

I need friends like this. jamminz.gif

No $#!+!!! LOL more like a splinter,, I take that earlier post back BTW,, I made it before I saw his other threads.. jamminz.gif

If I had friends like that I think I'd invest in more logging chains and master locks!! I think I'd fill my pants if I came home and my truck was chopped in half!! but then again none of my friends have twisted visions like his,, I on the other hand would do something like that to my friends ride,,IF I had the means he does.. :brows:

Those aren't frames, they're friggin art!

This is true, they are stunning.

I have been studing prerunner desert trucks and Jeep Speed builds as part of planning my MJ. :typing:

I think I'm going to buy a tubing bender so I can tub the the back of the frame. :chillin:

I'm willing to bet I can make some side cash bending tube too. ;)

I'm probably going to replace the front of the frame with rectangle tube and tie every thing together with the rollcage.

I need to check into buying some dimple dies also. 8)

I should be able to get about 18" of front travel and 24"-28" of rear travel.

I might have to do it in stages thou.

Just seeing those truck make me want to get even crazy with my build. :brows: A sweet prerunner would rock. jamminz.gif
