blanzawa Posted Monday at 01:31 AM Posted Monday at 01:31 AM I am servicing the front brakes on my '86 4WD Custom for the first time. Replacing the boots for the caliper guide pins is part of the job. Three of the original pins have a sleeve (example attached) between the pin and boot, while one was missing. The replacement boots did not include this part. I don't see any larger overhaul kits that ID or include the part, either, or it included with the guide pins. Is this something I'm going to need to go to the junkyard for? -- Ben

Even though they could not get it, NAPA finally identified it: Mopar 52001701 Sleeve for Bushing Front Brakes I ordered four. They're also available aftermarket. It says they're for a '91-'92 2WD, but they're on my '86 4WD. Someone may have installed different calipers before I bought it.
