Weird sputtering

Random sputtering in my 88 4.0 5speed recent oil change and fuel injectors done along with new fuel and air filter, plus and cap and rotor cleaned up it does not do it all the time but it will start sputtering and you can kinda power through it and it stops. Maybe over fueling? Anyone have any ideas on what it could be.

Did you pull a spark plug to see how that looks?

i replaced all 6 it kinda looked like it was getting too much fuel

And all of the plugs looked even? Might be a bad fuel pressure regulator.

I just read your thread where you had oil in the distributor. I also had a similar stumbling and oil in my distributor - my dizzy was bad.

Hard to tell from the video if thats doing the same as mine or not. Once I actually get the proper tps in Saturday if that does not fix it I will definitely be pulling the distributor next then.

It may not be the case but I would put my money on distributor indexing maybe needing to be done. Your symptoms definitely line up with the thread Smash6 linked. Cruiser tip 13
