Does Anyone Make this Heater Core T?

Recommended Posts

Hey. Looking for a new heater core / coolant reservoir connector. This is the one opposite of the control valve. I’ve been tracking a coolant leak for months and found this guy to be the culprit. Thanks for any help.

If it was my MJ, I would fabricate one from copper water pipe and the appropriate fittings, all soldered together.

Yeah. That’s one option but figured I would see if I can buy one. I was planning to tig one out of Stainless but buying is easier 😂

That’s awesome. Thank you for the help. Saves me a lot of fab time. I think I will use this one as a mock up template for one I make eventually but it can hold me over while I find the energy 😂

No prob! Good luck with it. The original factory hoses are crimped on, but you can do just fine with pipe clamp style hoses. They make non-marring pipe clamp hoses as well. I grabbed some non-marring ones from gates and used those. They work great. I think at this point, the issues tend to arise from the original rubber hoses breaking down at this tee and of course, the tee's occasionally rotting out. Mine was very rusty. My brother replaced his on his XJ just last year. That's how I remembered the part# :D
