Possible bad TPS again?

My Truck has begun to act up again, i don't have enough time to type a report at the moment but I'm pretty sure its a TPS problem again, i had the thorttle body apart and cleaned it this weekend.....for now though what are some tell tale signs of a TPS issue?

 

Truck is an 88 4.0 Automatic

erratic shifting is the primary issue, but that can also be caused by other issues. do you know how to test it with an analog ohm meter?

Ok after alittle research the signs now point to the EGR.....ill dig into it at work later today

slight TPS adjustment and a new O2 sensor......all is good now! :D
