Has anyone found a way to fix/replace broken tabs on the backside of the center cap ? I have a couple of caps with 2 or 3

missing tabs each. Does anyone have any successful  experience using the caps with a few missing tabs ?

You can probably plastic weld the broken tabs from the inside with a soldering iron. I have not done it to the caps myself, but I've had success repairing other plastic parts across the comanche with that method. Worth a shot. If you don't have the broken bits, CAD something similar up and 3D print it in ABS, then try plastic welding. No one ever sees it, so it does not have to look pretty.

I have some experience installing/removing these caps.  I don't think one or two broken tabs has much effect on how secure the cap is.

Thanks for the replies. The broken tabs are missing, so I will have to get creative to replace them. These are getting scarce and kinda pricey. I am trying to avoid

loosing one going over a neighborhood speed bump,

If I had one in front of me, I'd CAD up the clip so anyone could 3D print replacement clips and plastic solder em in place. Mine are sadly a few states over :/

Have you ever thought about printing a whole center cap?

Well I have a spare if you want to make those clips for repairs you were talking about

Honestly, It's something that needs to be done. Maybe in the future :D
