72cut Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Q pJust put new radiator in my 88 MJ. Does the bottom need to be bolted to something? Don't remember unbolting anything off bottom of old one. Picture is bottom of passenger side.
fiatslug87 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 No, there should be two posts that sit in grommets in the frame crossmember. Those slots are for the fan shield on the passenger side or auxiliary fan on the driver side. This info is for the 4.0L, not sure of the 2.5L.
eaglescout526 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 2.5L just has a bottom bar support that holds the radiator from moving back and forth at the bottom.
