Help with my engine

Hi new here just bought a 87 MJ don’t know the trim and looking for tips on how to find out. Also looking for info on the engine. Previous owner said it was replaced before he got it but that’s all he knew. I am just starting out so know next to nothing about engines. Would love to know what I have and any info about it you could give I’d appreciate. I absolutely love the Comanche and have wanted one for a long time. Exited to learn as I go. Want this thing to just keep getting better over time. Thanks

If you add your VIN to the registry, they can get you a partial breakdown of your truck.

Looks like a normal 2.5L 4 cylinder to me.
