I vaguely recall this one consisting of a fog machine and watching where the fog goes. Or he would say to spray something on the lines to see if the idle changes.

Amazon smoke machine and automotive smoke fluid. I literally takes 5 min to find the leaks.

This is hands-down the easiest and cheapest solution I've seen for a DIY smoke test to find vacuum leaks....
