Transfer case vent tube???

the rear axle is cool. what about the gear box, is there one there too?

Don't know about the standard trannys, but there are two breather tubes on the AW4, one on the main tranny and one on the tail shaft extension.

My 99 TJ AX-15 has a small breather cap on the top right behind the shifter. It's the kind of breather cap that prevents splashing from entering the hole. Likely not very effective if you submerge the whole truck, but I left it as is since it's so high up on the trans. I ran hoses from my t-case and axles up to the engine compartment and into a small valve cover filter assembly.

thats reall cool, vent tubes are next on the list. I was thinking about running them up into the cab through the floor...i know its kinda getto but its a trail only rig.
