CMFW Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Hi team. I hope this is the right forum. Are there window channels I can buy? Are there supposed to be some here? Okay thanks.
pizzaman09 Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Precision parts sells a full door seal kit. It's available many places such as here: https://www.jegs.com/i/Precision/757/DK+6110+84/10002/-1 I believe I've seen the seal you are talking about for sale individually but I'm not immediately finding it in my quick search.

My friend, that was enough for me to find just the channels! THANK YOU.

Traveler Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 I have new window channel seals, but could use some tips on installing procedures.
Htchevyii Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 I recently replaced every piece of weatherstripping, (except for the a pillar seals that I couldn't locate), on my '89 4 dr XJ, (same doors as a MJ). There wasn't anything too difficult about it, but it wasn't a lot of fun. Pulling the vent windows was the hardest part, it's not that difficult, just kind of tedious finding the correct angle to get them in and out. I also removed all of the regulators to clean and lube them, they are easy if you get the correct angle and rotation sequence, kind of a pain if you don't.
Traveler Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Thanks for your help. Got the wing window and track out, replaced the channel seal, and re-installed. You’re right! Lots of maneuvers to get the parts out and in.
