Friends, My MJ is currently in the shop right now with a transmission rebuild. Despite it being rebuilt, it is now shifting erratically. The shop suspects it’s a bad speed sensor. They ordered the part off of Crown Automotive (Mopar 83503722) and it didn’t fit. Does anybody have a lead or a source? 1990 Pioneer. 2WD 4L i6. AW4. Thanks.

I know this is an old thread, but I don’t care. This might help somebody in the future. Paint job first, then Line-X. okay honestly is probably doesn’t matter but I went to Maaco and they did a poor job taping off the Line-X seams. Mary Jane here was originally cherry red, but rattle can gray when I got her.

Make sure the engine is cold. I’m sure you know this. I didn’t. Mine turned into a hot geyser. today. 6 hours ago. oof.

I managed to pull my hand away in time to not get any serious burns. anyways, system is flushed and I now have a sensor that sends to a gauge.

Thanks. I have been a TJ guy for several years and used to pouring it down a radiator.

Hi. I’m an idiot. I upgraded my dash to have gauges and have been replacing sending units. I was unaware that the temperature sensor was connected to the coolant system and the engine was… freshly turned off. I cannot find how to get new coolant in this thing? I’m open to guidance. Thanks.

Hi. okay, so you know the switches by the steering wheel? I have four slots but only one switch, it’s for transmission from “comfort” to “power.” I hit the switch and it illuminates the word power and I think that’s neat. is there a place where I can get those made for custom projects? I have a few ideas in mind and id like to work them into my three empty slots. thanks!
