well ive been busy doing my least favorite work. all kinds of wiring. ive installed a 6 gang switch panel for accessory lighting etc. ive been slowly removing interior stuff to swap to the leather seat set and install my car audio stuff. The interior is going to be cleaned, restored, re-dyed,  etc. so far i have the switch panel, head unit, and my guage rings installed. I'm also painting the guage needles and installing new Azzy's guage faces. progress is picking up with the warmer temps, i also have 33-12.5-15s for it too just havent had a need to get them swapped just yet. here's some progress picsIMG_0919.jpg.ad381696c744b8d9ca7eb8afbdd1285d.jpgimage1-1_1.jpeg.658f422ee3f131d37b29d1768c6f605f.jpegIMG_0926.jpg.f5092a91666ce6a2213d5cb823ffa2ef.jpgIMG_0930.jpg.291f72ca4c43497e72652ea397c1a851.jpgIMG_0928.jpg.0dfeb42a65691f48d26b9f38b5b46536.jpgIMG_0921.jpg.cea1a8362d0b3ae096777c84f363bfaf.jpg

well the XJ has been on the back burner since i got the camper in April. i worked on the dash last night. I disassembled most of it again and was able to replace the lower dash section, and the part around the cubby hole below the glove box both peices had many broken mounting tabs and rattled alot. ive thought about wrapping the peice around the cubby hole with woodgrain to match the woodgrain cluster. my dash is super solud now, glad i went back and re-did it all.  i also finished all the under hood wiring for now, i still need to do the big7. i replaced the janky battery terminals with military style terminals. came out great. i have new ditch lights I'm installing too which require 4 conductor leads due to thier multi functions. ill do another post and possibly a video on those when they are all soldered up and working. happy Jeeping 😁IMG_1133.jpg.f11d28884edf56e1bf9065adadee8b20.jpgIMG_1158.jpg.6808bece44240ebc6d51295bae90b546.jpgIMG_1159.jpg.dfb9514acaa3f829ec1fb19bd5abad6a.jpgIMG_1160.jpg.bb4873c495a2523d6940f37f3f2c0a7c.jpgIMG_1161.jpg.8d0774ed3c4e7003fc85f43cf2089cc6.jpg

That dash

I have to take my tan lower dash out and plastic weld it before it snaps in half. Previous owner mounted a CB radio to it and left 4 holes and a crack. Sadness. I think I'm going to grab some tan colored ABS from microcenter and see if I can match it and just plastic weld it through the back.

That interior is mint :beerbang:

thanks 👍 it has a small crack in the dash besides that all the plastic is pretty good. the carpet has a lot of stains I'm debating taking it to a professional detailer or trying it myself

got the new ditch lights installed and wired in. they are 3 function, amper fog, amber parking lamps and amber strobes. they require a 4 conductor wire for installation. i think theyre pretty cool and at under 50$,  affordable too. found them on Amazon. install was easy due to the MICtunng switch panelIMG_1235.jpg.1c3b889bd3ed78152e62897c1708a3a4.jpg

well,  i got super lucky today and stumbled across a Dana44 rear for an MJ for sale for $250 on marketplace locally. so i naturally snatched it quickly. i alread have a set of spring perches for it so all ill need to put it in is shock mounts. on a cool side note, the guy i bought it from lived in an old farmhouse thats been in the family for generations, he had the diff stored in a potato crib built into the side of a large hill, it was built in 1910. it was super cool. happy Jeeping everone👍
