Tex06 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Found a set of new Dorman chrome side mirrors locally. They have the remote adjust which is why I like these more than the aftermarket ones on Amazon. They're about $60 each..... has anyone used these? Thoughts on quality?
ghetdjc320 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 I had a set on my last MJ. The length of the remote adjuster is too long and the holes were not tapped but they worked ok other than that. They were also missing the remote adjuster gasket
eaglescout526 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 It’s best to find OEM. Aftermarket for our mirrors are a joke. I don't know if they were made out of metal or a really good plastic back in the day but if you held an aftermarket in one hand and a genuine one in the other, you’ll side with the genuine easy. And as said above the holes aren’t tapped for the screws which really messes with getting them good and tight on the door.
