upper HVAC cowl seal

this one is looking pretty sad and it's doubtful I can get it back into place and guarantee a good seal.  anyone found a good replacement?  I don't really want to have to yank a bunch of hvacs looking for another in decent shape.

I bought two inch thick foam sheet from Grainger, and then cut mine out with a large kitchen knife after tracing a pattern on to it with a black sharpie pen.   I attached it to the heater box with contact cement.

 

The edges are not as pretty as the die cut factory one, but it works just as well.

I used the same foam as the factory blower motor seal. It’s 1” thick “minicel” foam
