sammisox Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 $2k, seems like a good deal! https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/d/commerce-for-sale-1987-jeep-comanche/7584695183.html
Armyvet25 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 wow, 2k is a good deal for any Comanche unless rotten to it's core, snatch it up!!!
NHMJXJ Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Love the content about ownership. They seem like good people. As for the truck, that's definitely priced right for what it is!
OldManComanche Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 This truck is also on the Tulsa Craigslist for $3550. It shows to be in Bixby OK. Something doesn't seem right!
sammisox Posted February 8, 2023 Author Posted February 8, 2023 Hmm interesting. Both contact numbers are 918 area codes so maybe it’s two different family members? I sent a text to one number to see if I get any clarification
OldManComanche Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I tried calling last week (both numbers). No answer and neither number has voice mail set up. What is the probability that if this isn't a scam you could get a good transferable title?
Armyvet25 Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Just called the (918) 240-3408, it's real, he's available, call NOW I called at 12:07
OldManComanche Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 I called at about 12:35 yesterday and got the guy on the phone. He told me that he was busy, but would call me back later. I never got a call. My biggest concern; Is there a clear, transferable title??
dave_c Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I foolishly made a $100 deposit on the truck for the owner to hold it this past weekend and have lost all communication since then. Pretty sure it’s a scam
sammisox Posted February 10, 2023 Author Posted February 10, 2023 I contacted both numbers asking if the truck was still available and saying there’s an identical posting of the truck. I received a message back from the Tulsa Craigslist number saying they live in Broken Arrow and own the truck and don’t know anything about the texas one. I never got a response from the number listed on the Dallas Craigslist post and now I believe they took the phone number off of that posting. I am sorry that they got $100 from you. I guess this one is indeed a scam…unless someone was able to physically meet the seller and truck in person.
Armyvet25 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Plenty of people on Marketplace and craigslist getting pics of their vehicles copied by scammers
