MJ 4.0 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 I just bought an 88' 4.0, auto, 4x4, short box, Pioneer trim with stock white 15" wagon wheels. I also picked up a set of 4, 2003 Wrangler Rubicon 16" rims, (same bolt pattern). Question: Can I run LT245/75R 16's on the Comanche without fear of tire rub or other issues? I know the speedometer will change as well, (not sure how much). I'm really looking forward to restoring this beauty! Thanks@ MJ 4.0
DesertRat1991 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 I think that's a really nice choice to run on stock suspension. It's actually a hair under 31"x10.5" in both dimensions. You shouldn't have a problem.
MJ 4.0 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 Awesome, thank you! I'm going to get tires today! Cooper Discoverer HT3's.

NHMJXJ Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 I run Toyo Open Country 245/75/16s on my stock height 88 with no issues. Same wheels as yours. Here's a handy tool for your speedo too https://tiresize.com/speedometer-calibration/
