Transmission fluid recommendations?

ATF+4 is okay for the transfer case. The AW-4 needs Dexron/Mercon.

Yeah that's the blue 1 gallon jug I'll buy at Walmart come next week. It's Mercon/dexron. Says "Recommended for Dexron lll and mercon and many more applicants" so that from what I've read about Dex lll would be my safest bet

Dex/Merc in the AW4. NOT ATF+4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dex/Merc in the transfer case. Okay to use synthetic or ATF+4 in it. Why bother with the more expensive +4?
