ruralandalone Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Why does the gas level probe have 3 wires? I know the black is ground. Every other gas level float I have seen has just 2 wires - a ground and a line to the gauge. Am I correct that there is a line both to and from the float to the guage? If so, why is it that complicated?

ruralandalone Posted July 5, 2022 Author Posted July 5, 2022 I knew it was a stupid question. Thanks for the response!
Pete M Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 no such thing as a stupid tech question. we all start at the bottom of the knowledge ladder and learning is the only way to climb.
ruralandalone Posted July 7, 2022 Author Posted July 7, 2022 Thanks for the kind words. Still, some questions are more profound than others! I consider my current question regarding my oil gauge to be more of a challenge, and more worthy of the forum
