ruralandalone
Why does the gas level probe have 3 wires? I know the black is ground. Every other gas level float I have seen has just 2 wires - a ground and a line to the gauge. Am I correct that there is a line both to and from the float to the guage? If so, why is it that complicated?

ruralandalone
Thanks for the kind words. Still, some questions are more profound than others! I consider my current question regarding my oil gauge to be more of a challenge, and more worthy of the forum
