TriaLnErroR Posted June 2, 2022 Share Posted June 2, 2022 1987 Jeep Comanche Pioneer SWB Renix 4.0 I6 w/ 5spd 4x4 Driver door build date not visible, but found 11-26-1986 stamped under front cowl. I originally picked it up on the Maryland/Virginia border line from a small dealer. He found it in a field in Virginia and made it street worthy again. Now it lives on the Jersey shore/ Pine Barrens in NJ. Been parked for about a year due to electric gremlins, but finally getting the time to jump all in and clean up the grounds and going through Cruiser54s tips and cleaning her up. The exterior is red with a black interior with bench seat. I believe the person I got the truck from redid the interior. Floor shifter. With all of the help from this forum and FB groups, I have been able to get a decent amount done and source some great parts (Turbines, Rollbar) and want to especially thank those who went out of their way to make reproduction parts available again (Roll bar brackets, Visor, tailgate bushings, cab vent rubber vents, etc) You guys are awesome.
