KBRAY88MJ
Anybody have any luck rebuilding there steering column? Or is it best to just find a replacement? Can’t find much info on this. Found this kit on Amazon. 88 Comanche 5 speed with tilt wheel. Column feels busted. Have to lift up and down on the wheel to find the sweet spot for the key to turn now. eaglescout526
Try looking up info about Saginaw columns. GMs of the same era used them as well so those Chevy guys ought to have a detailed walk through on rebuilding these columns.
jdog
These 4 bolts are notorious for coming loose and feeling like the column is broken. Link to tear down column.

KBRAY88MJ
Thanks everybody. Ended up being those loose E8 bolts. Broke 2 pivot pin pullers trying to get the 2nd pivot pin out. Ended up just tightening the 2 that were accessible and added some thread locker.
