Looking for a clock:

Trying to figure out the breakdown on which clocks(end connectors)

are direct replacements and will work on what years(84-96) ?

84-88 are quartz clocks which look beautiful and fantastically 80’s in our Jeeps.

So 84-early 87 is the blue connector. I did a diy conversion on this to use the later 87-90 metri pack connector.

late 87-90 uses the black metri pack.

91-92? uses a white connector.

I think I still have one quartz clock left that has been converted to use the later style plug if your interested.

I know I need a quartz one but right now I don't even know what connector I have.  I just tore the dash bezel off for the first time today and this is what I inherited!  It's a S%^& show in there and I have no idea what goes to what yet.

unless your truck was a super pimped-out Laredo, chances are you'll find extra plugs here and there. :L:   Jeep found it cheaper to make one harness to fit multiple trucks.

Best place to find the clock plug is on the right hand side of the column either by the lighter or tucked somewhere under the cluster and by where the switch plug for the auto trans. Should be blue or black depending on the year.
