The trip north is back on!

so we managed to snag a truck with a hitch as a rental.  

 

this evening I'll see what all I can throw together for a parts run north.

they had a minivan ready to go, but I wandered out to the trucks out of curiosity and low and behold, found a factory tow package.

I asked for details and I can both cross state lines and have unlimited miles.

just now walked out to the truck and it sounds like the fuel pump is active.  dunno what that means.  we'll see what the morning brings. 

 

 

edit:  google says it's normal.  freaky, but normal.  weird.

My wife's Subaru does that same sort of thing.  Ill go out in the garage in the evening and it'll be sitting there just humming away.  Googled it, its normal.  Something, something, blah blah about the EVAC/fuel system air purge/safety check system.  I eventually stopped worrying about it.  It still starts and runs, lol
